Day l
A morning departure has you heading south into the state of Virginia and the Hampton Roads region. Arrive in Virginia Beach in the afternoon and check into your hotel. Tonight, enjoy dinner at one of Virginia Beach’s local restaurants.

Day 2
Enjoy breakfast, then depart for admission to Nauticus, a maritime science museum. The museum celebrates the economic, naval and natural power of the sea with exhibits, films and the Hampton Roads Naval Museum. You are also welcome to go aboard Battleship Wisconsin which is connected to the museum. Explore the main deck and go below to learn what life was like on this great fighting lady. There will be time for lunch on your own in downtown Norfolk at the Waterside District along the Elizabeth River, then visit the adjacent General Douglas MacArthur Memorial. There is a 20-minute film which details events of the life of General MacArthur, and you can spend some time wandering through the Memorial Building where MacArthur is buried and which houses many of his mementos from throughout his career. Dinner will once again be arranged for the group this evening.

Day 3
After breakfast, board your motorcoach for Williamsburg where you will arrive in time for lunch on your own at Merchants Square and time to browse the unique shops. In the afternoon, a Half Day Admission Ticket has been arranged to Colonial Williamsburg. Start off at the Visitors Center with the film, Williamsburg: The Story of a Patriot for the history of the area, then continue to the colonial village where you may visit the Governor’s Palace, Capital and other historic buildings depicting life in the Colonial Capital of Virginia. There are live presentations, craftsmen and colonial residents to interact with as well as unique shops and treats to fit everyone’s taste. Dinner will be arranged in the area this evening before returning to Virginia Beach and your hotel.

Day 4
Breakfast this morning, then check out and depart for home with fond memories of Virginia Beach.
